August 2016

This webinar is based on a presentation given at the 2016 Linguamatics Spring Text Mining Conference. It will cover a portion of a UCL-based PhD project that forms a collaboration between the university, Linguamatics and Ieso Digital Health, who provide online text-based cognitive behaviour therapy to patients with mild to moderate depression and anxiety. The transcripts from these therapy sessions form a rich and underutilized data source.

It’s well-known that clinical trials are one of the most expensive parts of the drug development process; thus one of the goals of clinical trial professionals is to increase efficiency along the process.  Addressable bottlenecks include improving access to knowledge for site selection, patient populations, principal investigators, and key opinion leaders. In this webinar, we will discuss the benefits of text analytics and natural language processing over internal and external clinical trial data to optimise clinical trial design and gain knowledge from legacy data.

One of a series of interactive, online workshops to help you get the most out of I2E, give you the opportunity to "ask the expert" and cover some detailed hints and tips.
