Panellist: Jane Reed is the Head of Life Science Strategy at Linguamatics. She is responsible for developing the strategic vision for Linguamatics’ growing product portfolio and business development in the life science domain. Jane has extensive experience in life sciences informatics. She has worked for more than 20 years in vendor companies supplying data products, data integration and analysis and consultancy to pharma and biotech - with roles at Instem, BioWisdom, Incyte, and Hexagen. Before moving into the life science industry, Jane worked in academia with post-doctoral positions in genetics and genomics research.
Solmaz Gabery Adams, Senior Information Scientist at Novo Nordisk
Panellist: Solmaz is a Senior Information Scientist at Novo Nordisk driving text mining initiatives as well as laying the architecture for the portfolio of solutions needed to enable these for a team of information scientists. She has an academic background with a degree in Bioinformatics from the Technical University of Denmark, and has since then been implementing the methodologies on text-mining.
Jes Hansen, Business Information Scientist at Novo Nordisk
Panellist: Jes is a Business Information Scientist at Novo Nordisk and part of a group coordinating text mining efforts as well as an avid user of text mining on both external and internal information. He graduated from Copenhagen University with a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science.

He has spent significant time delivering solutions for the manufacturing, consulting, technology, telecommunications, media and financial services industries. Prior to joining Dow Jones he served as Head of Technology at AMP, Australia’s leading specialist wealth management and life insurance company.
