II-SDV 2016: The International Information Conference on Search, Data Mining and Visualization

April 18, 2016 to April 19, 2016
Venue: Nice, France

Lingumatics is pleased to once again be a sponsor, speaker, exhibitor and session chair at the II-SDV conference. This year's event takes place from 18th - 19th April in Nice (http://www.haxel.com/ii-sdv/2016/meeting) and provides an international forum for those in the field of advanced search applications, data / text mining and visualization technology.

Andrew Hinton from Linguamatics will be speaking on "Text mining - as normal as data mining?" at the conference. In his talk, Andrew will be exploring how information can be captured from free text as conveniently as accessing a database and will then go on to discuss several applications of specialized normalization solutions. There is also the chance to catch up with Linguamatics at our stand within the exhibition area of the conference.

One of Linguamatics' partners, Copyright Clearance Center (CCC), is also presenting at this year's II-SDV.  In his "Improving Text Mining Results with Access to Full-Text Scientific Articles" presentation, Michael Iarribino from CCC will provide a walkthrough of CCC's RightFind™ XML for Mining solution, which utilizes Linguamatics' I2E text mining solution.

We look forward to seeing you in Nice!
